The PMP certification is for every professional working in the project management industry either they are the construction project manager or a project engineer. This certification is the gold standard in the project management industry that validates the professionals' important skills to handle any underlying project. This certification is getting very famous all over the world and those who practice in the project management industry should make their goal to achieve this certification.

This certification is highly in demand because of its global acceptance. The project management professionals who managed to become PMP certified are immediately entitled to a 25% pay rise. The average annual salary of a project manager working as an engineer is approximately 124k USD. The PMP certification comes up with certain prerequisites which needed to be filled in before getting eligible of taking this exam.

These prerequisites are as under;

The individual willing to take the PMP certification exam should at least have a four-year degree along with thirty-six months of valid experience in a leading project management role. Plus, they also produce thirty-five hours of project management training or CAPM besides their experience and degree.

Those who have a high school diploma are required to prove sixty months of job experience and the rest is the same qualifying criteria i.e., thirty-five hours of project management training or a CAPM certification.

Those who qualify for the above criteria can apply for the PMP certification exam whether they practice as a project engineer or consultant etc.

The eligible project managers can book for the PMP certification exam through the official PMI website. They need to fill in the application and mention their job experience related to the projects they handle. Once the application is approved, they should start preparing for their upcoming exam. Here, it is also important to keep in mind that this exam checks and validates their important skills learned through their project management experience. However, besides having such relevant skills the passing ratio of this PMP certification exam is forty to fifty percent. This means that the failing ratio is more as compared to the passing one so what might be the reason behind it.

There are plenty of reasons like the individual took the exam very easy but it wasn't that pretty easy. The said individual did not prepare well for the exam. The individual got nervous and ruined all the exams. There are many other similar reasons behind such failures however, the two main reasons can be identified, the first is that the two hundred questions exam was supposed to finish within four hours meaning that every question time allotment is one minute twenty seconds.

But the individual didn't realize the importance of time allocation. These professionals can overcome this problem by preparing for it in advance. They can practice the mock exam questions that can be found online as well. The individuals can practice them keeping in mind that the original PMP certification exam will be similar to the one they are doing at this time.

The second issue is recalling scenarios during the exam, this skill can be built by doing a process called brain dumps through which the individuals can memorize the scenario by linking it. Both brain dumps material and practice exam dumps can be downloaded from SPOTO. So, either you are a project engineer or coordinator you can take PMP certification in your to-do list because it worths a lot.
