Introduced: New AWS Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C03)!
AWS has just announced an update to what can be considered their most popular certification, the AWS Certified Solutions.
It's not surprising that the SAA-C02 certification is being upgraded because it was made freely accessible on March 23, 2020, or almost two years ago. In the past two years, AWS has changed and innovated at a tremendous rate. The certification will continue to demonstrate its value to organizations and consumers by being updated to reflect the newest services, features, and best practices.
I assume that many of you have a variety of questions, some of which may be as follows:
I'm currently studying for the current SAA-C02 exam. Can I still take it?
Would my recently passed SAA-C02 still be valid, or will I need to retake the test?
When will the new exam be available?
What has changed?
There are lab questions in the AWS SysOps Administrator certification exam; will there be any of those?
Where can I find the updated study material for this test?
Where can I obtain additional details about this test?
So let me respond to each of these for you.
I'm currently studying for the current SAA-C02 exam. Can I still take it?
The short answer is "yes," without a doubt! I advise continuing your preparation for the AWS SAA-C02 exam if you have already begun. You have plenty of time to complete your coursework because the SAA-C02 exam can no longer be taken after August 29, 2022.
Keeping that in mind, you still have time to study and pass the exam if you wish to take it but haven't begun studying yet. This depends on your level of experience, effort, and determination. Find our learning route if you're looking for study materials and instructions for the SAA-C02.
Would my recently passed SAA-C02 still be valid, or will I need to retake the test?
When AWS releases an updated certification, this is a legitimate concern. You may have recently spent months studying for an exam only to learn that AWS will be revising it soon. The good news is that you DO NOT need to retake the revised certification exam to maintain your qualifications.
The recently upgraded certification does not require retaking. Even if you passed the AWS SAA-C02 test on the final day it was offered (August 29, 2022), the validity of your exam is still good for three years after that date. The certification version is not included in the certificate or digital badge you receive after passing the exam.
When will the new exam be available?
The new test, known as AWS SAA-C03, will be offered to start on August 30, 2022. On the other hand, if you want to be among the first, you can book your exam beginning on July 26, 2022, when registration opens.
What has changed?
There are some changes after comparing the SAA-C02 and SAA-C03 exam guides, but there is also a lot of material from the SAA-C02 that is repeated. Nevertheless, it does refer to some of the newest services and features offered by current services.
Domain 1 of SAA-C03: Create Secure Architectures
Since designing safe access to AWS resources is a significant focus, a thorough understanding of AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM) is necessary. AWS Single Sign-On, Security Token Service, AWS Control Tower, and Service Control Policies should also be familiar to you.
In addition to a thorough understanding of VPC security policies, it also examines how to secure workloads and applications. This will test your comprehension and familiarity with services like Amazon Cognito, Amazon GuardDuty and Amazon Macie, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and AWS Secrets Manager.
SAA-C03 Domain 2: Create Resilient Buildings
This domain focuses on two key areas:
How to create architectures that are scalable and loosely connected
How to Design Fault Tolerance and Highly Available Architectures
Design High-Performance Architectures, SAA-C03 Domain 3
In contrast to the SAA-C02, this domain adds a new component that examines identifying high-performing data input and transformation solutions. This means that services like Amazon Athena, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon QuickSight, AWS DataSync, AWS Storage Gateway, AWS Glue, Amazon EMR, and Amazon Kinesis will be the main focus.
Design Cost-Optimized Architectures (SAA-C03 Domain 4)
The last domain concentrates on the same four resource types—storage, computing, databases, and networking—and how to optimize costs at various levels following various requirements. Additionally, you must be familiar with multiple AWS cost management tools, including Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and AWS Cost and use reports.

Career Path for AWS
Developing Key Skills for an AWS Career
An encrypted cloud computing platform is provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), a division of Amazon.com. It boasts millions of customers, including startups, major corporations, and top government agencies, and provides over 200 fully featured services from data centers worldwide. Users can utilize managed databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server to store information, transmit mass communications and content to clients, and securely store all files on the cloud for convenient access.
Technical people with AWS abilities have various career options based on AWS positions or particular cloud services. For instance, one may specialize in machine learning and storage management or become an AWS cloud practitioner or solutions architect.
A career in AWS would include taking unexpected turns and adopting new viewpoints. One would have to think all the time creatively and be continually challenged. This is due to AWS's commitment to the ongoing evolution and desire to alter the face of technology. AWS-certified solutions architects, DevOps engineers, sysops administrators, and accredited developers are a few of the highest-paying AWS positions based on certification. To get ready for an AWS job, a person needs to build a specific set of abilities, including:
1. Interaction
The ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, is necessary for working as an AWS professional. The collaborative process is the key to building practical systems. To do that, experts from many departments must collaborate closely, and communication is essential. Consider someone who wants to become an AWS cloud architect. In that situation, having excellent design skills will be useless if they cannot communicate their vision to managers, software engineers, and other architects. They must effectively share their thoughts in emails, documents, and presentations.
2. Programming dialects
The most popular programming languages among AWS experts are Python and Java. Although coding is not a must for all AWS job pathways, it is generally vital for an AWS expert to understand programming to provide practical, sensible solutions that would function as intended. Since they are development-related occupations, specific roles like developer and DevOps engineer demand in-depth coding skills, whereas solutions architects or sysops administrators don't. However, given that application development is a significant use case for the company's cloud architecture, a fundamental understanding of programming languages is advised for anyone interested in pursuing an AWS career path.
3. Networks
It can be challenging to develop a secure cloud-based solution without knowing how networks work. This is why certain positions require knowledge of a few networking concepts, such as the domain name system (DNS), transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP), and hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP).
4. Resolving issues
Working with AWS requires critical thinking and analysis. This entails gathering data and seeing fundamental trends and patterns in simple to somewhat complex data. For instance, a solutions architect's job entails generating technical solutions, pre-sales deliverables, and solutions to fulfill the needs of customers and company objectives. The AWS platform is built on the idea of continuous improvisation, which calls for a focus on finding solutions.
5. Watchability
For a company to better optimize its systems, monitoring the condition of the IT infrastructure requires various skills and methodologies. One of the essential abilities required to work with AWS is observability. You can modify AWS configurations using observability skills to reach the appropriate end state, which is needed to support the organization's business operations. Technical experts can use it to track the effects of automation and improve automation programs. Implementing observability involves the following steps:
Information gathering from infrastructure nodes
Decision-making and action points for data analytics
6. Security for clouds
Enterprises have historically exercised caution when hosting their data in the cloud. However, cloud security has considerably improved over time, fostering greater user confidence. AWS employees with security expertise are in more demand due to this obligation falling on cloud security experts. People interested in a profession in AWS cloud security may find it financially rewarding.
7. DevOps,
DevOps is one of the top skills to possess for someone looking to work for AWS. Automation is the key to operational excellence, and DevOps engineers are involved in the process. When transferring code from development to production, DevOps automates tasks, including monitoring, testing, integration, and deployment.

An ever-increasing number of companies are utilizing cloud administrations, provoking many individuals to switch their present IT position to something cloud-related. The issue is that many people have that much time after work to learn new advances, and there are many cloud benefits that you can dominate. Regardless of whether you decide to zero in on two of the greatest cloud stage suppliers, which means Azure versus AWS, it won't be a simple decision.
In this article, we'll assist you with figuring out which certificate way gives a more promising time to come to the vocation movement. When you're prepared to begin accreditation preparing, SPOTO can assist you with setting up your certification test. We give IT instructional classes covering a wide range of IT affirmations.
Now let's directly get into the comparison of AWS Certification and Azure Certification.
Why Should I get certified by AWS or Azure?
Experts with years of experience can take any interview and nail it and get the job. Because their work experience shows the ability that a company might need. However, what about starters? For a starter, how do you persuade the interviewers that you are capable of solving problems? You have no project experience as proof. Therefore, you need the certifications as proof to show you are good enough to land the interview in the first place. There are mainly three benefits of getting certified:
Learning while preparing
Set getting a certification as your goal would be an excellent way to force yourself to learn harder. If you are still wondering where you should start learning cloud tech, go with the certification requirement. It gives you a clear guide to the basics, so you will know what you are doing during each period.
Besides, finding all the materials you need to learn online is easy. SPOTO has courses on both Azure and AWS and exam dumps covering 100% real questions and answers. Leave your information and get free demos of AWS Certification and Azure Certification.
Registering for Certification will motivate you. If you cannot commit to your projects, a booked certification exam, in other words -- "money already spent," will serve as helpful motivation for you to study harder.
Gaining hands-on experience
Whether taking the Azure Certification exam or AWS Certification exam, you will need to solve problems, even in the basic ones. You need to get some hands-on skills before you start the exam. You can figure out how to execute cloud technology with your project or make it simpler for yourself and start with small steps.
Lab challenges assist you with becoming acclimated to executing cloud solutions and drive you further in understanding what you're doing.
New opportunities
Getting certified, no matter by AWS or Azure, is a way to a better job position. Being certified proves you're good enough is a must-have perk whenever you want to switch careers or get a raise on your current job.
Which Certification is harder to get? AWS or Azure?
The harder you study to qualify, the less time you spend with family and friends. Now that you are making sacrifices, you need to know how to achieve your goals faster.
If you try to learn the platform without knowing what you are doing, Azure and AWS can be difficult. Or, if there is enough guidance, it can be easy. However, many IT professionals claim that AWS is easier to learn and certify.
First, AWS has software development kits (SDKs) for many popular programming languages, and we will modify these SDKs according to new trends. By 2019, Azure will only support C++ and C# applications. SDKs for Java, Python, and JavaScript have been around for a year, but many developers claim C language support is still slightly better.
AWS is also working hard to make learning easier. The resources on the platform are three times that of Azure (the AWS Cloud Practitioner learning path has 123 e-learning projects, and the total number of all Azure paths is 78). AWS also has a free version that you can use forever to hone your cloud skills.
Final: Which Certification should I choose?
Ultimately, the choice is up to you. If you want to be certified for the most popular cloud technology today, choose AWS. It is ahead of other cloud service providers in terms of market share and may continue to be at the top of the list. If you're AWS certified but not Azure certified, most employers will be happy to talk to you.
Do you need Azure Certification for your dream job? In addition to being familiar with Azure, do you have all the requirements? Getting certified for this technology is a haven, and you don't have to worry if you need to give up your enthusiasm and switch to more popular technology.

With the advent of the heyday of cloud computing, major cloud service providers are constantly conquering cities to consolidate their dominance in this field. From the perspective of market share and usage promotion, AWS and Azure have become the leaders in this respect without any criticism. However, for users of cloud services, what bothers them most is how to choose the one that best suits their business needs from among the many cloud service providers.
In this article, we will compare these two cloud service giants in a comprehensive way to help you make better comprehensive choices.
AWS and Azure: General features
First, we compare the different characteristics of AWS and Azure from five dimensions: release year, market share, open-source status, hybrid cloud characteristics, license, and Linux ecosystem.
With the basis of the above characteristics, let's compare the pricing of the two products.
1. Pricing
As the leading cloud services provider, the pricing models of Azure and AWS follow the classic cloud computing pricing architecture, namely: pay-as-you-go. Specifically, AWS charges users by the hour, while Azure charges users by the minute. Therefore, for short-term subscription plans, Azure provides you with greater flexibility. Of course, it is worth noting that for some service applications of users, when their architecture needs to be expanded, their expenditure on the Azure platform is often more expensive than AWS.
2. Computing Services
Computing power and computing services can be described as one of the core reference indicators of cloud service provision platforms. At present, various cloud service applications generate massive amounts of data all the time and frequency. Therefore, platform users need faster processing resources provided by the cloud platform. Correspondingly, computing services can measure and ensure that users generate different instances within a few minutes and can immediately expand new cases when needed. Next, let's take a look at how AWS and Azure meet such needs.
Currently, AWS has services such as EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, and ECS. The similar services that Azure can provide include Azure Virtual Machine, App Service, Azure Functions, and Container Services. So it is obvious that the two are on par in terms of computing services.
However, when you look at the cost aspect, you will find that various instances of Azure tend to become more and more expensive as its system capacity increases. For example, if you have an example with 256GB RAM and 64-bit CPU, AWS will charge you at a rate of $3.20 per hour, while Azure will charge you at a rate of $6.76 per hour. Above we discussed and compared the computing capabilities of the two platforms, and now we will compare the data storage capabilities of the two platforms.
3. Storage Service
Both AWS and Azure can provide long-term reliable storage services. AWS has benefits such as AWS S3, EBS, and Glacier, while Azure storage service has three types: Blob storage, disk storage, and standard archive.
AWS S3 can ensure high availability and automatic replication across regions. Furthermore, when dealing with the need for temporary storage, AWS will run immediately every time an instance is started; and end the service when the sample is stopped, thereby realizing block storage similar to a hard disk. Therefore, it can be connected to any EC2 instance while maintaining its independence.
Azure provides temporary storage and page blob storage for VM volumes. As the corresponding option of AWS S3, Azure also has the chance of block storage. In addition, Azure can also provide two types of opportunities for cold storage and hot storage.
After discussing storage, let's take a look at the performance of the two service providers on database services.
4. Database Service
After "going to the cloud," many companies can provide various services through the cloud platform and thus produce data in multiple formats. Therefore, to preserve these data, the databases of each cloud platform will naturally follow up and follow up. Developing. Accordingly, both AWS and Azure can handle various structured and unstructured data types by providing different database services.
If you pay attention to the durability of the database, then AWS has Amazon RDS, and Azure has Azure SQL Server database. Specifically, Amazon RDS can support different database engines, including MariaDB, Amazon Aurora, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. For Azure, as the name suggests, SQL Server databases are, of course, based on SQL
5. Service interface
Let's consider their interface again. Azure has a friendly and smooth user interface, while AWS provides more optional examples. It can be seen that these two tools have their own merits.
6. Scope of service
Judging from the coverage of their services, they can all support data analysis and extensive data services. Among them, AWS has EMR, and Azure also has a similar product-HD Insights. In addition, Azure also provides Cortana Intelligence Suite with Hadoop, Spark, Storm, and HBase.
In terms of software maturity, AWS also provides a more mature environment specifically for big data.
7. Network Service
Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) supports the creation of isolated networks in the cloud space. Users can create various subnets, routing tables, private IP address segments, and different gateways. As an echo of VPC, Microsoft Azure Virtual Network allows you to get all the functions of VPC ideally. And these two service providers also provide solutions for expanding the data center deployed on-premises to the cloud and configuring cloud firewall options.
8. Container and orchestration support
As mentioned earlier, AWS can provide more mature, extensive data analysis services. Its tool spectrum covers many fields, including the Internet of Things, mobile applications, and the creation of computing environments on-demand. Of course, they can also provide support for Docker. Because services such as Azure HD Insight can support Hadoop, Microsoft is slightly better in this regard. Azure on Windows Server 2016 can also provide integration with Docker for various Windows containers and Hyper-V containers. Of course, on this platform, we can run both Windows containers and Linux containers.
9. Compliance
Amazon has established good relationships with US government agencies and supports various government cloud products. At the same time, they also provide suitable security measures to ensure that individual users appropriately access the corresponding cloud space. This is essential for the company to dispose of sensitive data properly. Microsoft provides more than 50 compliant products, including the famous ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), DISA (National Defense Information Systems Agency), HIPAA, CJIS (Criminal Justice Information) Services) and FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards). Therefore, in terms of security, the two are equally matched.
Final score
In summary, both AWS and Azure cloud platforms can provide comprehensive functions and services. It is difficult for us to say which one is stronger and more advanced arbitrarily. Azure is excellent in hybrid cloud and integration with Microsoft's full-stack products, while AWS has more flexibility and additional features. All that said, you should still depend on the specific needs of your organization.

Wondering how do other people prepare their AWS Certification exam? Read this article and find out!
Because I have encountered many troubles during studying and preparing for the exam, I hope to share some of my experience to help more students pass the exam successfully.
I prepared for the exam in two stages: study and preparation. The intermediate span between these two stages is as long as one year, so that I will introduce them separately.
The learning stage is mainly to participate in the learning and training organized by my company. The form is that everyone watches video courses after work every week, learns one topic each week, and then shares our idea and discusses them at a fixed time. It takes about two months to get all knowledge of AWS SAA.
Every time I see the Exam Tips, I will save them and practice myself. Then, when all the content of a section is finished, I will organize all the tips and then start to review them; I took notes simultaneously and organized the key points.
In addition to the knowledge points mentioned, I will also open the AWS official page of the related service, mainly to look at the overview, functions, and joint problems of the service. Furthermore, I will also look through the development documents for some of the more important points. In the process of viewing these contents, important information is also recorded in the notes.
Sharing
Because the company requires everyone who participates in the training to share what they have learned, the way is that everyone writes their notes on the blackboard, and then takes turns to introduce their notes to everyone, and can ask questions and exchanges during the process.
The most significant advantage of this format is that it allows you to consolidate the knowledge you have learned through output, and you will think further in the process of speaking. At the same time, by listening to the sharing of other people, you can also learn knowledge points that you do not understand.
Taking Test
After the weekly sharing is completed, the person in charge of training will sort out some sample questions of relevant knowledge for on-site testing, answer questions, and test the effect of learning.
This is how my study phase was completed. At this stage, I think the most crucial gain is the notes that I organize. All relevant knowledge points are recorded in written form. You only need to review the messages when preparing for the test. After that, I need to watch the video again.
The plan this year was to take the test after the Chinese New Year, but due to the epidemic, the test plan was put on hold. For some personal reasons, I didn't start preparing for the test until October. Here is also a reminder that it is best to take the exam as soon as possible after completing it. Otherwise, it will be more troublesome to pick it up after the interruption.
Reviewing (1 week)
Because I have already studied before, I skipped the step of studying again in the preparation stage and went directly to the review. Therefore, the resource for the review is the notes organized before.
To enhance the review effect, I didn't just read the notes. At this time, I was doing the migration work (from Youdaoyun Note to Evernote). I copied and pasted notes during the migration process. While reviewing the text, make sure that you have carefully read the content of each message to help you recall relevant knowledge points as soon as possible. I have to say that the effect of this method is pronounced. After all the notes have been migrated, I have returned to the state I had just finished studying at that time.
Solving questions (2 weeks)
After finishing the review, I started to solve the questions over and over again. The question came from SPOTO. This question was bought by a colleague of the company and shared within the company. SAA has eight sets of questions, seven sets of comprehensive test questions, and 1 set of pre-exam test questions. The number and difficulty of the questions are comparable to those of the formal exam.
The way I solve the questions is relatively simple, that is, do the questions and check the correct answers, first follow the complete test process to do a set of questions (65 questions take about one and a half hours), and then start to compare and analyze, and go through all the questions. Why do you have to pass all the questions is because this process is a process of learning. There are some knowledge points that I didn't learn in the learning stage before. Through the analysis of each question, when I encounter a knowledge point that I have not seen before, I will add it to the notes while learning it, so every time I complete For a set of questions, some content will be added to my notes, and the knowledge points recorded before will be updated.
I have an inconspicuous but beneficial technique when reviewing questions. After completing a set of questions, I will review all my notes. For example, after completing eight sets of questions, I added eight notes and reviewed eight thoroughly. Notes all over. This has played a significant role in strengthening my memory in a short period because after reviewing repeatedly, many concepts were remembered more and more clearly, and I finally passed the exam. So the order in which I spend time doing a set of questions is: review notes> check> doing the questions. Although it takes a lot of time, it is beneficial. I recommend that everyone can do the same.
When I finished reading the questions and felt that I was almost ready, I started to schedule the exam. I also want to say more here. I suggest you make an appointment as soon as possible. Because preparing for the exam outside of work is very energy-consuming and time-consuming, it is best not to delay. The longer you wait, the more tossing, and the knowledge is easy to forget, so you feel that Take the exam as soon as possible after the status is ok.
The appointments for exams are all officially conducted from AWS. There are two platforms to choose from. I finally decided on Pearson VUE, mainly because this institution has many test centers, and the test time is more flexible. After I finished the last set of questions on Sunday, I made an appointment for the test on Wednesday morning of the second week to delay it too long.
Bring your ID card and passport to the test center on the day of the test, starting at 10 o'clock. Because I signed up for the Chinese trial, the questions and options are all in Chinese. In addition to the tension, I was very uncomfortable at the beginning. Because I watched videos and brush questions in English, I didn't recognize many concepts after I changed them to Chinese. Although the test system has the English translation, it was still a little messy at the beginning. Later, after doing a few more questions, I gradually found the feeling. At the same time, I also changed to look at the English test questions directly, compare the Chinese when I couldn't understand, and finally complete the exam. After the end, I saw the system prompt "pass" the exam; I was thrilled and felt that the hard work of the last half month was finally not in vain.
I received the email the day after I finished the exam. This is the last certificate I got:
The above are some of my experience sharing in taking the AWS SAA exam. Because it summarizes my own exam experience, I did not introduce too much information related to the exam. I mainly share my methods and experience in the early exam process, hoping to prepare for the exam. Some help from classmates.
